Editorial
Shape the Story
Before the Finish.
Offline editing to online conform. Picture locked, ready for colour.
Why It Matters
The Edit Is Where the Story Is Found. The Conform Is Where It Becomes Permanent.
Every creative decision made in the offline edit shapes what is possible in the grade. A clean offline, delivered to a compatible conform pipeline, means the first day of colour begins precisely where the editor left off — not with reconciliation.
When editing and finishing are done in separate facilities, something is always lost at the handoff. Media mismatches. EDL discrepancies. Sound prep that does not match picture. Problems that should not exist consume time that should not be wasted.
An integrated editorial pipeline means the conform is not a separate project. It is a continuation of the same one.
The Trisha Approach
Offline Until Lock. Then a Seamless Transition to Finishing.
Our editorial team works in offline until picture is locked. The conform to full-resolution media is completed on the same infrastructure that feeds directly into the colour grading pipeline — ensuring that nothing is lost, added, or changed between picture lock and the first grade session.
VFX shot pulls are prepared to specification from the conformed timeline. The sound prep package is structured for a clean, organised first ADR and sound design session. The pipeline export to Baselight is verified before colour begins.
We can work from your cut or originate the edit with your project. The transition from editorial to finishing is not a delivery — it is a conversation.
“Picture lock is not the end of editorial. It is the beginning of finishing.”
Technology
Integrated Editorial Pipeline
Seamless from Cut to Colour.
Our editorial infrastructure is designed to connect directly with the colour grading pipeline on Baselight. Offline edits are conformed to full-resolution media with frame-accurate precision. No rounding errors. No missing handles. No timeline surprises on day one of the grade.
VFX pulls are prepared as OpenEXR or DPX to specification. The sound prep package is structured and labelled for a clean first session. The Baselight import is tested before the colourist sits down.
