Colour grading session at Trisha Studios Mumbai on FilmLight Baselight

Trisha Studios operates one of India's most capable colour grading facilities — FilmLight Baselight with Blackboard Classic, operating in a full ACES colour-managed pipeline. For productions delivering to Netflix, Amazon, Apple TV+, Disney+, or theatrical release, this is the technical foundation that makes simultaneous HDR and SDR delivery from a single grade possible.

Our colourist team has graded across Bollywood feature films, Punjabi cinema, Hindi OTT originals, advertising, and international co-productions. The facility is in Andheri West, central to Mumbai's production community.

Colour grading at Trisha Studios is not a technical afterthought. It is the final creative act — the stage where the film's visual world is completed. We work in close collaboration with directors and Directors of Photography to ensure the grade serves the story.

Common Questions

Do you colour grade on FilmLight Baselight or DaVinci Resolve?

Our primary grading system is FilmLight Baselight with Blackboard Classic — the industry standard for feature film finishing. It is the same system used on major international films and by the world's leading post-production facilities. We do not use DaVinci Resolve for final DI work.

Can you handle an ARRIRAW or REDcode RAW grade directly?

Yes. Baselight handles all major camera RAW formats natively: ARRIRAW, REDcode RAW, Sony VENICE RAW, Blackmagic RAW, Canon RAW, and others. Each is handled through its manufacturer-certified Input Transform within our ACES pipeline.

How long does a feature film colour grade take in Mumbai?

A standard Bollywood feature film typically requires 8–15 days of grading, depending on complexity, number of deliverables, and VFX integration. Productions with extensive VFX or multiple HDR deliverables may require longer. Contact us early in your schedule.

Can the director and DoP attend the grade remotely?

Yes. We can accommodate remote review sessions using secure live streaming of the grade output. However, creative look development sessions are significantly more productive when the director and DoP are present in the suite.
